OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has officially launched its Mac app globally today, following an initial private rollout to paying Plus subscribers over the past month.
OpenAI promotes the ChatGPT app for macOS as seamlessly integrating into all your computer activities. It’s designed natively for Mac, offering a convenient keyboard shortcut (CMD + Space) for quick access from anywhere.
The macOS ChatGPT app allows effortless interaction with the chatbot. Users can attach files, photos, and screenshots to messages, which ChatGPT can then incorporate into its responses.
Additionally, users can utilize Voice Mode to interact with ChatGPT using their voice. OpenAI plans to introduce an updated version of Voice Mode featuring GPT-4 capabilities on the Mac in the coming weeks.
