iPhone SE inventory “quickly” depleting ahead of rumored refresh
Apple Store inventory of the current iPhone SE is rapidly dwindling, with a significant number of U.S. locations reporting little to no stock, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. This trend has fueled speculation that Apple is preparing to unveil a new generation of the iPhone SE, with the upcoming launch expected to bring a host of upgrades and new features to the device.
The new iPhone SE is expected to closely resemble the base model of the iPhone 14, featuring a sleek and modern design. Rumored features for the upcoming device include a 6.1-inch OLED display, along with Face ID. The next iPhone SE is also expected to include a USB-C port.
On the camera front, the new iPhone SE is rumored to feature a single 48-megapixel rear camera, a significant upgrade over the current model’s camera capabilities. Additionally, the new device will likely be powered by a newer A-series chip and include 8GB of RAM, which will enhance performance and support Apple Intelligence features. The new iPhone SE is also expected to be the first device to feature Apple’s custom-designed 5G modem, improving network speeds and overall connectivity.
