Apple CEO Tim Cook has teased an upcoming product launch set for Wednesday, February 19, fueling speculation about the long-awaited iPhone SE 4. Cook shared a cryptic video on X (formerly Twitter) with the message: “Get ready to meet the newest member of the family. Wednesday, February 19. #AppleLaunch.”
The short teaser features an animated Apple logo inside a circle, pulsating to a sound resembling an iPhone ringtone, hinting at a potential new addition to Apple’s smartphone lineup. While no specific product was mentioned, many believe this could mark the debut of the next-generation iPhone SE.
The new iPhone SE is expected to closely resemble the base model of the iPhone 14. Rumored features for the upcoming device include a 6.1-inch OLED display, along with Face ID. The iPhone SE 4 is also expected to include a USB-C port.
On the camera front, the new iPhone SE is rumored to feature a single 48-megapixel rear camera, a significant upgrade over the current model’s camera capabilities. Additionally, the new device will likely be powered by a newer A-series chip and include 8GB of RAM, which will enhance performance and support Apple Intelligence features. The iPhone SE 4 is also expected to be the first device to feature Apple’s custom-designed 5G modem, improving network speeds and overall connectivity.
