Apple announces WWDC25 for the week of June 9, iOS 19 and more to be revealed

Apple has officially announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place the week of June 9, 2025. Like recent years, WWDC25 will be primarily an online event, where the company is expected to unveil major software updates including iOS 19, iPadOS 19, macOS 16, tvOS 19, watchOS 12, visionOS 3, and more.
Kicking off on June 9, Apple will also host a special in-person experience at Apple Park. Selected developers and students will be invited to watch the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union live, participate in group labs with Apple engineers, and more. The entire event will be streamed online for the broader global audience.
WWDC25 will spotlight iOS 19, iPadOS 19, macOS 16, tvOS 19, watchOS 12, visionOS 3, and more, with developer resources and session details to be made available via the Apple Developer app and website in the coming months.
“We’re excited to mark another incredible year of WWDC with our global developer community,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations. “We can’t wait to share the latest tools and technologies that will empower developers and help them continue to innovate.”
iOS 19 is rumored to feature a fresh design inspired by visionOS, the operating system powering Apple’s Vision Pro headset. Sources suggest the update will include translucent UI elements and a more glass-like aesthetic. In a subtle nod to this, the WWDC25 logo features a stylized “25” that resembles the translucent layers seen in visionOS.
